A short explanation on each course is on the registration page. Please read this to understand the difference between each course.

·  Teen Challenge is the standard course.

·         “101” is for students with learning difficulties or English as a second language.  There is a voice over for this course.
·         The industry specific modules – hairdressing and hospitality - include the teen challenge information.

Teachers decide which course their student completes – students only complete ONE course.  The teacher registers for their whole class or group.  There is no cost for SA schools in 2024.

Once you register you will receive 2 emails - one with your teacher login and another with the student pins/passwords (you can print these off and give them to you students).

Teachers can monitor student progress, access information on the content in the courses when you log in to your account – click on the “resource documents” tab.

Student pins do not expire.  Students need to use the Forget your password link if there are any issues.

Your Students

  • How do I login?
  • NOTE – they must include a first and last name for the certificate to be able to continue.
  • When they login for the first time they are asked to change their password (ie the one you give them is temporary) – they are sent an email with this information to the email address they enter.
  • Do the program at their own pace and can log in and out as many times as they need to (and can use different computers/ipads). The program will take them back to the module they are up to when they login again (ie they do not have to complete the program in one sitting).
  • The average time to complete the course is 45-60 minutes but can vary depending on the student.
  • Must achieve 100% in the module test to move through to the next module.  They can make as many attempts as they need.
  • Should use the Forget your password link on the login page.
  • Receive a certificate when they complete the course (it can also be saved as a PDF).

If you click on “login” and you don’t get the login screen you need to ensure that you are using an up to date browser – updated within the last 2 years (this is a local IT issue) and that the proxy server is directed to the HTT Protocol (there is no secure socket layer) – eg Http:// (the Passport site protocol) NOT Https:// (a different protocol not used on the Passport Site).
